“If I Only” is an adaptation of the Turkish series, whose creator, Turkish screenwriter Ece Yörenç, was also behind other hit titles such as “Alba” or “Fatmagül”. 

Megan Montaner (“30 Coins”, “The Hunt: Monteperdido”) plays the role of Emma, a woman disenchanted with her present who, thanks to a stroke of fate, manages to transform her life and start over. Miquel Fernández (“Alba”) plays her husband Nando, and Michel Noher (“La unidad”) plays Rubén, whom Emma will meet in her new life. The cast is rounded off by Jael Pascual (“45 RPM”), Eduardo Lloveras (“Intimacy”), and Bore Buika (“Elite”), among others.

The series was produced by Boomerang TV for Netflix, and Irma Correa was in charge of adapting this story about second chances, as she did with “Alba”. Directed by Liliana Bocanegra ("The Queen of Flow"), the series was shot on location in Seville, Madrid, and Paris. 

About “If I only”

Emma is a 30-year-old woman who is disillusioned with family life and her ten-year marriage to Nando and feels like life has lost its luster. Feeling trapped in a rut with no romance or excitement, Emma realizes that if she could go back in time, she would not have accepted Nando's marriage proposal. So, she decides she should divorce him. A couple of days later, on her way to observe a rare lunar eclipse with her friends, Emma is caught in a time warp that sends her back ten years to 2008. Her 30-year-old mind is trapped in her 20-year-old body. Life has given her a chance to re-evaluate who she was and who she wants to become, with the distinct advantage of knowing what the next decade has in store for the world.
