“The Avatars” proposes a modern and positive vision of how young people can use new technologies to achieve their goals. The protagonists, through the Internet and technology, struggle to achieve the dream of many young people: to become rock stars. Despite their talent and status as emerging artists, their secret identity means that the boys have to continue with their daily lives in high school. Although their efforts bring them neither personal fame nor glory, the boys put all their passion into it and work their way up in the competitive music industry through their anonymous avatars.

Three teenagers, brought together by their love of music, dream of becoming world famous rock stars. Unfortunately, the boys are repeatedly rejected by record labels who believe they are still too young. Everything changes when J.P.'s sister Lou comes up with the idea of creating a virtual band: The Avatars. Thanks to the Internet and the boys' talent, the group quickly gains popularity; however, the boys cannot reveal their true identity, and must lead a double life.

“The Avatars”, whose world premiere was on Disney Italy, has been sold and broadcast to Chello Central Europe for the territories of Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Italy on Rai Gulp Italia, Brazil, South Africa, Nigeria, Poland, UK and USA.
