La Moderna' is living a week full of events that will change the lives of our main characters forever. In this Thursday's episode, the Pedraza Family will be involved in a transcendent and tragic event that will mark the future of the main characters and will give a twist to the plots.
In episode 315, Emiliano will take the opportunity to reveal that Maruja and Pepita knew about his dark past and what happened years ago in the village massacre. Upon learning these details, Paula decides to spend the night in his tent and, after the latest events, Maruja and Pepita will wish more than ever that Rodrigo and Paula would elope together. On the other hand, Emiliano will take Don Fermín to one of the best restaurants in Madrid and César will invite his sister Mercedes to dinner to show her the gift he plans to give Maruja. But, this evening will end in tragedy...
In addition, from January 23rd the series will incorporate Juli Fàbregas, Roberto Enríquez and Meritxell Calvo, who will play the characters of Captain Dávila, Ramallo and Marcelina.
These characters arrive to the daily series produced by Boomerang TV for RTVE, to join the leading cast headed by Magdalena Tejado, Jesús Mosquera, Lola Marceli, Miguel Hermoso, Clara Alvarado, Pepe Nufrio, Diana Palazón, Teresa Hurtado, Begoña Maestre, Carles Sanjaime, among many others.
These are the new characters
Captain Dávila, played by Juli Fàbregas, is the new police chief of the city's central district. Noble and with a strong sense of justice, Dávila is characterised by his neat and refined manners. With a military background, he was severely punished after a series of disagreements with his superiors, which ended his career in the army and led him to join the police force. He arrives at ‘La Moderna’ to solve a series of crimes that have taken place in the area and which directly affect the staff of the tearoom.
Ramallo, played by Roberto Enríquez, is a thug turned accountant. He is the right-hand man of Don Bernardo, a dangerous moneylender who has taken it upon himself to finance the sequel to ‘The Fearless Spy’. Tough and implacable, his role is to ensure that the money invested in it is recovered, including interest, and by any means necessary. At first, his intimidating character and his lack of experience in the world of cinema will make both Agustín and the Valbuena sisters mistrust him, but perhaps the magic of the seventh art is powerful enough to make someone like Ramallo change…
Marcelina, played by Meritxell Calvo, is a young woman with a cheerful and open personality, who arrives at the corrala to try to cheer Trini up after discovering that her childhood friend is going through a rough patch. Although her arrival is full of good intentions, Trini's relationship with Marcelina is not as idyllic as everyone thinks. Things get complicated when Marcelina not only extends her stay indefinitely, but also plans to work in the tea room in a position that, if she gets it, promises to mark a turning point in the society of the moment.
