The 2023 edition of Benidorm Fest will kick off on January 31. In its second edition, the gala event will be hosted by Mónica Naranjo, Rodrigo Vázquez, and Inés Hernand.
Benidorm Fest will welcome 18 participants whose dream is to become Chanel Terrero’s successor and represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest. The competition consists of two semifinals and the grand finale.
The first semifinal will be held on January 31 at the Palacio de los Deportes L’Illa de Benidorm sports arena and will feature performances by Agoney, Alice Wonder, Aritz Aren, Fusa Nocta, Megara, Meler, Sharonne, Sofía Martín, and Twin Melody; while the second semifinal, on February 2, will feature Alfred García, Blanca Paloma, E'Femme, Famous, José Otero, Karmento, Rakky Ripper, Siderland, and Vicco. Four artist from each of the semifinals will go on to the grand finale, where the eight semifinalists will compete for a ticket to Liverpool, host of the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
Audiences will be able to follow the second edition of “Benidorm Fest” on La 1 and on RTVE Play. And Boomerang TV will be collaborating with the events production once again this year.
