Manuel Ayra, from Orozco’s Team, Wins “The Voice” 2024

In a gala event packed with star-studded performances, Manual Ayra was proclaimed the new winner of the eleventh edition of “The Voice.” The talent from Antonio Orozco’s team drew 41% of the votes from the audience and become the best voice in the country.

The young artist (age 19) won Antonio Orozco’s heart singing a cover version of a Pablo Alborán song in his own unique style during the Blind Auditions.  The coach from Catalonia was the only one to swivel around in his chair and was fully convinced of Manuel’s potential.

This was not Manuel’s first time on stage. The young man participated in the 2019 edition of “The Voice Kids” as a member of David Bisbal’s team, becoming one of the finalists for the coach from Almería. Although Manuel did not win, this didn’t stop him from continuing to pursue his dreams and sign up for the adult version of “The Voice.”

Manuel has not seized to amaze in each of phase of this edition. During the Battles, Dani Fernández was quick to point out that Manuel had a lot of talent, and that’s why his coach chose him.

One of Manuel’s greatest performances in this edition of the show produced by Boomerang TV was his rendition of “Abril con anestesia.” During the Knockouts, Manuel staked his bets on a Pablo López song, bringing the entire studio audience to their feet. Thanks to this performance, Manuel won a direct pass to  “The Voice” Finals in representation of Orozco’s team, thus proving that he had his coach’s full support.

Orozco made it to the first round of the Semi-Finals with just three voices on his team, including Manuel. He had fewer talents left than any of the other coaches, so only one of them had a chance of remaining in the show. Orozco left the decision up to the audience, who voted to decide that Manuel was their favorite and should aspire to win the game show.

Manuel was the only representative of Orozco’s team in the last leg of the Semi-Finals, a gala event where the talented singer realized his dream of singing with two great artists, sharing the stage with Dani Fernández and Antonio Orozco.

The Grand Finale for “The Voice” drew an impressive 15% audience share. The show, hosted by Eva González, lead with a season record and closed a great edition +2.1 points stronger compared to the previous week. It was also the most-watched show of the night, with over 1.2 million viewers.
