Despite all the setbacks, it seems love has prevailed above all else on 'La Moderna'. And we’ll see it do so this Thursday with an exciting new episode in which our protagonists, Matilde and Íñigo, finally manage to make their dream of saying “I do” come true. But their wedding will be shrouded in sorrow due to the young bride’s illness. Will this be her final request?

For the past several days, Doña Carla and her mother have been poisoning Matilde, giving her arsenic instead of sugar in hopes of finishing her off and finally getting Íñigo’s long-sought affection. 

Matilde is quickly deteriorating. She knows that she has very little time left and has decided that marrying Íñigo is her dying wish. Time is not on their side, but Antonia and Marta help them prepare the wedding, which will be celebrated at the Garcés family home. 

That’s when Doña Carla finds out that Matilde has not yet passed away. Matilde is still alive and is about to marry Íñigo as her last request. During the ceremony, Doña Carla shows up at the corrala to talk to Íñigo… Will she get there in time to stop the wedding?

Helena Ezquerro, Almagro San Miguel, Stéphanie Magnin, Miguel Ángel Muñoz, Teresa Hurtado de Ory, Berta Galo, Llorenç González, and Alba Gutiérrez head the cast of “La Moderna”. This new season will also feature more new storylines featuring other recent additions such as Begoña Maestre, Álex Adróver, Eva Pedraza, Manuel Bandera, and Carlota Baró.
