Fanny Gautier joins La 1’s early afternoon drama, “La Moderna,” to play Juana, Doña Lázara’s former workmate. 

The story lines on “La Moderna” never cease to surprise us, and they don’t all revolve around the Pedraza family.  This time, in the tea room, Doña Lázara will be left alone to confront a problem from the past that is back to haunt her and that she did not think she’d have to face in her new life. 

Juana and Doña Lázara meet again after having lost touch years earlier. For some strange reason, La Moderna’s manager finds Juana’s mere presence disturbing, as this old friend seems to represent the shadows of a past Doña Lázara has gone to great lengths to keep secret and that must never see the light of day under any circumstances. 

“La Moderna” is a Boomerang TV production produced in collaboration with RTVE that airs Monday through Friday at 4:30 p.m.
