In its continuing commitment to Spanish fiction, Antena 3 has already started working on a new project: “Perdiendo el juicio,” the network’s new original prime-time series, starring Elena Rivera and produced by Boomerang TV.
This new series will start shooting over the next few weeks. And, as usual, atresplayer premium subscribers will have a chance to preview it before its launch on Antena 3.
“Perdiendo el juicio,” which will be made up of ten 50-minute episodes, is a legal drama starring Elena Rivera, who will play Amanda, a prominent lawyer who is struck by a serious flare-up of OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) during an important trial. From that moment on, her career takes a nose dive, and Amanda is forced to accept a job offer at a failing law firm that falls far short of her aspirations. There, Amanda shares her cases with a bunch of down-and-out professionals completely unlike the stuck-up lawyers Amanda is used to dealing with.
This new life poses a professional and personal challenge for Amanda, as the people she encounters at this new firm upend her life once again. When Amanda’s sister becomes involved in a strange murder case, Amanda has to defend her.
“Perdiendo el juicio” is an Atresmedia TV production in collaboration with Boomerang TV. Montse García (Atresmedia) and Luis Santamaría (Boomerang TV) are the executive producers for the series. Susana López Rubio, Javier Holgado, and Jaime Olías are in charge of the script.
“Perdiendo el juicio” is currently in preproduction. The cast will be announced soon as the series will start shooting over the next few weeks.
On the heels of the hit series “Alba”
Antena 3 has brought together a good part of the team behind “Alba”—one of the biggest hits in Spanish fiction of recent years, both at home and abroad—to work on “Perdiendo el juicio.”
Elena Rivera, winner of two Ondas Awards for her work on “Alba,” is back to star in this new series produced by Atresmedia TV and Boomerang TV whose Executive Producer is Luis Santamaría. Once again, Monste García, Director of Fiction for Atresmedia TV, is in charge of the project. Susana López Rubio and Javier Holgado are also back as the screenwriters.
And this isn’t the only recent hit born of this partnership between Atresmedia TV and Boomerang TV: this same team was behind “Between Lands,” the drama starring Megan Montaner that became the most-watched prime-time series of 2024.
