Starting Monday, March 25, the character César Morel, played by Miguel Ángel Muñoz, will join “La Moderna.” This new character is here to shake up the storylines in the recently inaugurated second season of the series, joining other new arrivals such as Begoña Maestre, Álex Adrover, Eva Pedraza, and Manuel Bandera.

After the tragic events that took place at the end of the previous season, Matilde and her sister Clarita are looking after Iñigo, who is still in the hospital and seriously wounded after getting shot on his wedding day.  Doña Carla says she wants to help Iñigo in his recovery and decides to find a new manager for the Madrid Cabaret. César Morel is the man chosen to manage the venue. César is a handsome, dashing man with an attitude who arrives from Marseille hoping to capitalize on his experience working in nightclubs in Italy, where he worked as head of security and was also in charge of dealing with some of his bosses’ shadier business. When he moves to Spain, he starts working as the new manager at the Madrid Caberet, where he meets Inés, whose uncle Don Fermín owns the tearoom. César is attracted to her, but the ghosts form the past stop him from trying to woo her.

Miguel Ángel Muñoz joins the cast of “La Moderna,” headed by Helena Ezquerro, Almagro San Miguel, Stéphanie Magnin, Teresa Hurtado de Ory, Berta Galo, Llorenç González, Alba Gutiérrez, Carlos Serrano Clark, and Eduardo Velasco, among others. Other new additions this season include Begoña Maestre, Álex Adrover, Eva Pedraza, and Manuel Bandera. They will be starring in the new storylines featured on the series that airs Monday through Friday at 4:30 p.m. on La 1 and on RTVE Play.
