This is ‘Perdiendo el juicio’

Amanda Torres is a prestigious lawyer who suffers a serious outbreak of her OCD during an important trial. From that moment on she becomes a stinker in the profession and it is not at all easy for her to find a job again, partly because of that dark episode and partly because it is not easy to live and work with her continuous manias.

So she is forced to accept a job offer at a decadent law firm far removed from her expectations, where she shares cases with a group of down-and-out professionals who are nothing like the snooty lawyers she was used to dealing with.

On the other hand, she has to deal with the attraction she still feels for her husband, whom she is reluctant to divorce, and with the attraction she is beginning to feel for her new boss. All this while preparing the defence of her sister, who is involved in a bizarre murder case, which happened on her wedding day, and which could lead her to spend the rest of her days in jail.

Elena Rivera as Amanda

Amanda was a brilliant lawyer, forming a successful business-marriage with César, but her life was derailed overnight when, in the middle of a trial, she was triggered by an obsessive-compulsive disorder. After that, he decided to retire to a house in the country, but the arrest of his sister, accused of murder, forces him to come out of his lethargy.

Manu Baqueiro as Gabriel

Owner of the decadent law firm that hires Amanda. Although he is actually a very talented lawyer, no one would say so, he doesn't fit the image of a professional, stuffy lawyer at all. Amanda will help him to believe in himself again and he will have with her a complicity far removed from any conventional relationship.

Miquel Fernández as César

Still Amanda's husband, but this will change as soon as he decides to sign the divorce papers. He is a successful, handsome, wealthy and somewhat snooty lawyer, in other words, the complete opposite of Gabriel. As much as he has an attractive new partner, and tries to avoid it at all costs, César still has feelings for Amanda, and her return to the courts threatens to shatter his well-worked life balance.

Lucía Caraballo is Barbie

An intern at Gabriel's law firm. She comes from a humble background and approaches cases from a different point of view.

Daniel Ibáñez is Bosco

The other intern in the firm. He comes from a very different world to Barbie and, like all polar opposites, his attraction is inevitable. His father is a legend in the judiciary, although he has never taken advantage of this and struggles to carve his own path.

Dafne Fernández as Sara

The new partner in the firm and César's partner. You could say that she has replaced Amanda in all aspects: she has taken her job and her husband. She is self-centred and ambitious, and represents Amanda's antagonist and the villain of the story.

Carol Rovira is Daniela

Amanda's sister and the main suspect in the murder of her husband on their wedding day. A carefree character, she never thought she would get involved in a situation like this. All the clues point to her guilt and it won't be easy to prove otherwise.

Alfonso Lara as Rafa

The most senior lawyer in Gabriel's firm. He is old school, grumpy and somewhat lazy. His main objective is to retire, however, Amanda's presence will change his way of seeing things, and he will come to think that he is still fit enough to continue practising for a while longer.

After the success of ‘Alba

Antena 3 reunites in ‘Perdiendo el juicio’ a large part of the team responsible for ‘Alba’, one of the biggest Spanish fiction hits of recent years both within and outside our borders.

Elena Rivera, winner of the Ondas Award for her work in ‘Alba’, returns to the helm of this new series produced by Atresmedia TV in collaboration with Boomerang TV and with Luis Santamaría as executive producer.

Once again, Montse García will be in charge of this project as director of Fiction at Atresmedia TV. Susana López Rubio and Javier Holgado will also be working on the script.

Moreover, it is not the only recent success that has forged this partnership between Atresmedia TV and Boomerang TV; as the same people have been in charge of ‘Entre Tierras’, a drama starring Megan Montaner, which has been crowned as the most watched prime time series of 2024.
