Antena 3 premieres new season of 'La Voz Kids'

  • This new edition will feature Lola Índigo, Melendi, Rosario, and David Bisbal as the coaches.

“The Voice Kids” is back on Antena 3 after leading Saturday nights in its last edition. The talent show produced by Boomerang TV for Atresmedia Televisión premieres this Saturday, April 13, at 10:00 p.m. with a team of coaches who will introduce some new features.

Lola Índigo will be making her debut as a coach on the format, where she has previously participated as Assistant Coach. Melendi is back on the format that has garnered him huge success. David Bisbal and Rosario will repeat the experience one more year to try to get the best children’s voices on their respective teams.

The show has consolidated its success on Antena 3, and its last edition became the night’s uncontested leader again, outperforming all other offers throughout the weekend. Once again this year, the show stood out above the competition with an average 12.9% audience share.

Like the format’s other editions, “The Voice Kids” is also available outside Spain through Antena 3 Internacional and Atresplayer Premium Internacional.

The Super Blocks Come to “The Voice Kids”

During the Blind Auditions, the coaches on “The Voice Kids” get to listen to the contestants selected through an exhaustive casting process carried out in various cities all over Spain.

Each coach will choose 16 candidates to put their own team together and move on to the next phase with the best voices. And, throughout the Blind Auditions stage, the coaches will have the opportunity to give one talent a second chance.

As seen in the adult version of “The Voice,” in this new edition of “The Voice Kids” each coach will get to use two super blocks, a new feature that made things a lot more interesting for the coaches. The coaches will have a chance to make one of their peers’ chair swivel around after they press the button during the process of selecting talents to join their team, sparking an all-out war for the best voices.
