“The Voice” rings loud and clear once again. Antena 3 will premiere the new edition of the adult version of the world’s most successful talent show next Friday at 10 p.m.
Hosted by Eva González, this new season features Pablo López, Antonio Orozco, Luis Fonsi, and Malú as the coaches. Four spectacular, chart-topping artists on the national and international scene will be swiveling around in their chairs on the set of “The Voice.” All four coaches are already familiar with the format, having experienced “The Voice” as insiders in previous years.

In this edition of “The Voice,” the coaches will once again get to resort to superblocks. Now that they’re aware of its true value, the coaches are using this power a lot more strategically. As in the previous edition, they’ll be able to block each other after they swivel around.

During the Knockout Rounds, the coaches will be assisted by major music artists.  Rosario will be Luis Fonsi’s assistant; Prince Royce will work with Malú; Mika will assist Vanesa Martín, and Álvaro de Luna will work alongside Pablo López and Dani Fernández to assist Antonio Orozco

They’ll also have the opportunity to offer one of the talents a second chance. During the Blind Auditions, the coaches will be able to choose a talent that they did not choose for their team to allow them to perform a new song in another of the gala events.

“The Voice” is produced by Atresmedia Television in collaboration with ITV Studios Iberia and Boomerang TV. For everyone wishing to enjoy “The Voice” outside of Spain, the show is also available through Antena 3 Internacional and atresplayer international.

For the second year in a row, Occident will be joining the talent show, reaffirming its commitment to music and emerging talent. Just as the insurance company supports people and companies throughout the various stages of life, putting itself in their shoes to ensure their peace of mind in the present and confidence in the future, music is always present at key moments, creating unforgettable experiences. Through this sort of sponsorship, the insurance company aims to strengthen its bond with the public and establish a long-lasting emotional connection.

New Features of the New Edition of “The Voice”

The new edition of “The Voice” comes with new features to make the competition and the coaches’ fight to get the best talent even more exciting.

Malú’s superpower: as the most experienced coach participating in the format, Malú will have an advantage during the Blind Auditions. She will have the power to mute the other coaches’ microphones by pressing a button on her chair. That way, when her colleagues try to convince a talent to join their team, Malú will have a chance turn off the sound so that no one can hear them.

The remote control: the coaches have put together a playlist with their favorite songs that remind them of key moments in their lives. The show has provided them with a remote control they can use whenever they want. Each time a coach picks up the remote, a song from that playlist will play, leading to some great moments throughout the whole edition of the show.

“The Voice,” Leading Music Talent Show

The Antena 3 talent show remains one of the biggest shows on television: its latest edition stood strong from start to finish averaging nearly a 17-point share in all its galas, making it the most-watched talent show of the season.

The Antena 3 show consistently drew an average of 1.4 million viewers, reaching 4.4 million unique viewers during each gala. The talent show ended the season with a +7.5-point lead, the largest in its history, over its closest competitor.

The Coaches on “The Voice”: Major Music Stars

PABLO LÓPEZ

Pablo López, one of the key figures in contemporary pop, approaches singing and songwriting in much the same way he approaches life, and the way he approaches life reflects who he is. He is unpretentious, conveying something with every word and every verse, with that touch of madness and freedom. And he is honest with himself and with his music, which is to say, the world, his world…

Considered one of the most relevant authors in our country, the artist is experiencing a high point in his professional career, celebrating 10 years in the music business together with fans and the general public with a blockbuster tour of over 30 sold-out concerts that kicked off in February and will finish June 16 at the Teatro Albéniz UMusic Hotel during the Universal Music Festival.

On this intimate theater tour, the artist has visited some of the most iconic theaters in Spain, revisiting his extensive discography offering a sneak preview of some of the highlights from his new album. Audiences and fans got to enjoy one of the best live shows in the country, with its exquisitely delicate technical and creative approach. In July and August, the Malaga-born artist will continue to tour the main summer festivals and concert series before moving on to Latin America and the U.S. and rounding off the year at some of the most relevant venues in Europe, all the while combining touring with various television projects.

Pablo López is the mastermind behind a highly successful discography. Albums such as “Once historias y un piano” (2013), “El mundo y los amantes inocentes” (2015), the adventurous “Camino, fuego y libertad” (2017), and the cinematic “UNIKORNIO, once millones de versos después de ti” (2020) have achieved impressive sales. And this success has been translated into record-breaking tours. In fact, López is the first Spanish artist to make it onto the Poll Star list, which measures worldwide ticket sales.

He has also recently received the 2024 Medalla a la Proyección de Andalucía, one of the most important awards granted by the government of Andalusia. The medal is just one more in the long list of awards López has received, including the prestigious Ondas Award in 2021—as Musical Phenomenon of the Year thanks to his “MaydayStay Tour.” López is also tremendously popular throughout the country thanks to his participation as a coach on the various editions of “The Voice” television format, having won all three versions: “The Voice,” “The Voice Kids,” and “The Voice Senior.”

ANTONIO OROZCO

With more than 1,500,000 records sold, one diamond record, ten platinum records, and several number one hits, Antonio Orozco is one of the most distinguished and beloved Spanish music artists. Success and acclaim have marked Antonio’s unstoppable career from the very beginning, with more than 2,500 concerts in Spain, Europe, and Latin America since. Antonio Orozco musical career is backed by nine albums, to which he added a tenth record, “Aviónica,” in 2020.

“Aviónica”, won listeners over with the cheerful and positive vibe of its songs, which invite us to reflect on the things that really matter. Antonio Orozco’s long awaited comeback album has made it to the top of the Spanish charts twice and is on its way to becoming a double platinum record.

He decided to use the album’s name for the highly successful tour that ended last December, the “Aviónica Tour,” which consisted of 82 concerts, 60 of which were sold out. With more than 173,500 people attending, the tour included some of the most important venues in the country. Orozco never ceased to amaze with the songs that have made him one of the leading artists on the Spanish music scene.

In the summer of 2023, the artist was back onstage with “Mitad Antonio, mitad Orozco” (“Half Antonio, Half Orozco”), a tour that immersed us in a journey through the two halves that make up 100% of the most authentic Antonio Orozco. Throughout its more than 16 venues, the tour showcased Orozco’s more personal, charismatic, delicate, and generous side (Antonio) as well as his facet as a committed artist with a heartbreaking voice and a show that leaves no one indifferent (Orozco). Antonio Orozco will revisit the greatest hits of his musical career—many of which have become anthems that have marked our lives—in a format designed to be sung, danced, and enjoyed.
Orozco has also managed to cross borders, taking the stage again in several major European cities. Paris, London, and Dublin are just some of the capitals Orozco has visited to offer one-off concerts where he performed the greatest hits of his music career.
